A devotion about Deborah, Rebecca’s nurse, based on Genesis 35:8, and a devotion about Naftali, the second son of Jacob and Rebecca. These devotions were included in a reader for use in secondary schools. The devotion about Deborah (pp. [350]–353) was reprinted from 1897.17 (pp. [60]–62). The other about Naftali (pp. [353]-355) was reprinted from 1887.33 (pp. [31]–34). This reader of primarily literary texts was compiled by L. Bückmann (1887–1949), a journalist and man of letters.
